XVIII Champion David Russell ”It's hard work... Playing poker. Don't let anyone tell you
different. Think about what it's like sitting at a poker table with people
whose only goal is to cut your throat, take your money, and leave you out
back talking to yourself about what went wrong inside.” ~Stu Unger, Three-time WSOP Champion Mission Statement We at the Poker Night enjoy the sport of Poker. We also enjoy helping educate players of all skill levels in the

What are the rules? Poker Night uses a modified version
of the Poker Tournament Directors
Association rule set. We play like we were in a casino, not like they play in the
movies or as you might at your buddy’s house. How old do I have to be to play? You must be at least 21 years of age to play in our events. Isn’t this Illegal? In a word, No. There is no law against playing poker. Gambling is against the law in the State of Tennessee. In order to gamble you must put up something of
value in hopes of a return. Our Events are free = no laws broken. Smoking in public places is illegal in Tennessee, why are you smoking at your events? Age Restricted Venues such as The Ice House allow smoking. Smoking is not permitted at The Pinnacle. “The strong point in poker is never to lose your temper, either
with those you are playing with or, more particularly, with the cards. There is no sympathy in poker. Always keep cool. If
you lose your head you will lose all your chips.” ~From The Gentleman’s Handbook on Poker by William J. Florence |
